[Ur] Searching for media server

Hi. I'm thinking about writing speech exercise application which
should work with fragmented audio files. I've done some experiments in
the area of <audio> tag/JS-FFI [1]. Could anybody recommend me a
suitable standalone media server (probably JSON-controllable) which
would be able to 1) efficiently upload and store large audio files,
return a kind of permanent link  2) retrieve the fragment of stored
file given start/stop time 3) delete the file, etc ?
